Frequently Asked Questions

Is Level 1 required before taking Level 2?
Yes. Level 2 assumes competency in foundational dry needling technique. You must have completed Level 1 or an equivalent foundational course before registering.

What’s the difference between Level 1 and Level 2?
Level 1 covers foundational technique across major muscle groups in the extremities and spine. Level 2 builds on this by targeting more advanced, deeper spine and extremity muscle groups, as well as the use of advanced electrical stimulation techniques.

What makes Highbar Dry Needling courses different?
Highbar Dry Needling Levels 1 and 2 is designed to give you confidence to perform this technique the very next day on your patients through a focus on how AND when to dry needle. In addition, we provide pre-work in advance of the course to ensure you feel ready, and we provide a workbook and lunch both days so you have everything you need to focus and get the most out of the course.
