Luis Lopez is a Physical Therapist Assistant at Highbar Pawtucket who is passionate about helping patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their daily lives. With a strong foundation in movement science and rehabilitation, Luis works closely with patients to support recovery and improve function following injury, surgery, or chronic conditions.
Luis earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island in 2019 before completing his Associate in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from the Community College of Rhode Island in 2025. His academic background and clinical training allow him to provide thoughtful, patient-centered care that focuses on both recovery and long-term health.
Luis has a particular interest in treating orthopedic conditions, arthritis and osteoarthritis, and post-surgical rehabilitation. He is dedicated to helping patients move more comfortably, rebuild strength, and return to the activities that matter most to them.
Fluent in Spanish, Luis enjoys connecting with a diverse patient population and ensuring that every individual feels supported and understood throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Outside of the clinic, Luis enjoys walking his dog Chloe, watching football—especially cheering on the New England Patriots—and spending time with his girlfriend and family.
