Dr. Yvan Abis, PT, DPT

Dr. Yvan Abis, PT, DPT is a physical therapist at Highbar Physical Therapy’s Smithfield – Sanderson Road clinic. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Springfield College and is certified in Dry Needling. Yvan is committed to providing individualized, evidence-based care that helps patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and confidently return to the activities that matter most to them.

Yvan has a special interest in orthopedics, spine and back pain, and balance and gait rehabilitation. He incorporates his training in dry needling when appropriate to complement treatment and help patients work toward their functional goals.

Outside the clinic, Yvan enjoys staying active, and golf is his current obsession.
