Dr. Tom Pesci PT, DPT
Physical therapist
As a physical therapist, Dr. Tom Pesci brings a passion for education, movement, and patient empowerment to every session. With a strong background in orthopedics, sports injuries, and spine care, Tom specializes in helping patients return to the activities they love, stronger, more confident, and with a deeper understanding of their bodies.
Tom earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island before completing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Marist College, where he also served as a teaching assistant in cadaver labs throughout his graduate training. His clinical interests include the knee, hip, and lumbar spine, with focused expertise in ACL rehabilitation and hip labral pathologies. He holds certifications in Dry Needling (Highbar, 2024) and as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer (2020), allowing him to integrate strength, performance, and evidence-based manual therapy into his treatment approach.
A proud member of the APTA, Tom loves physical therapy because it allows him to educate patients, promote lasting lifestyle change, and guide people back to the activities that bring them joy. His goal is always to help patients feel understood, supported, and fully equipped to take ownership of their movement health.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find Tom lifting weights, running, biking, fishing, or diving into a good book. Whether he’s training for a new personal best or helping a patient achieve theirs, Tom brings enthusiasm, curiosity, and a patient-first mindset to everything he does.
