Dr. Stephanie Coelho is a Physical Therapist at Highbar who brings a performance-driven, patient-centered approach to care. With a strong background in strength and conditioning, she is passionate about helping patients build resilience, improve movement, and return to the activities and sports they love.
Stephanie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Medicine Sciences and Health Studies with a minor in Health Psychology (2019) and her Doctor of Physical Therapy (2022) from MCPHS University. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and has completed Dry Needling Level I certification, allowing her to integrate strength training, manual therapy, and evidence-based techniques into her treatment plans. She also incorporates principles of Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) training to support movement efficiency and alignment.
Her clinical interests include orthopedic rehabilitation, dizziness and vertigo, and sports-related injuries, with a special focus on athletes in soccer, basketball, volleyball, track, and lacrosse. Stephanie enjoys helping athletes safely return to sport while improving performance and reducing injury risk.
Stephanie believes in empowering patients through education and movement, ensuring they feel confident both during and after their rehabilitation journey. She also speaks conversational Portuguese, allowing her to connect with a broader patient community.
Outside of the clinic, Stephanie enjoys hiking, playing soccer, and exploring new coffee shops. She is also a fan of Boston Legacy FC, reflecting her love for sport both professionally and personally.
