Dr. Marissa daLuz PT, DPT

Marissa daLuz, PT, DPT is a physical therapist at Highbar Physical Therapy’s Dartmouth clinic. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Physical Therapy from Bridgewater State University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Hartford. Marissa is passionate about providing individualized, evidence-based care that helps patients regain confidence, improve function, and return to the activities they enjoy most.

Marissa enjoys treating a wide variety of patients, with clinical interests in orthopedics, balance and gait disorders, neurologic rehabilitation, pediatrics, and geriatrics. During her doctoral training, she was one of three students selected to participate in research exploring the relationship between foot function, footwear, and fall risk, and she continues to collaborate on publishing the findings. She also served as Public Relations Chair for the University of Hartford Physical Therapy Student Association and participated in peer mentorship for fellow DPT students.

Outside the clinic, Marissa channels her creativity through her custom jewelry business, which she launched in 2020 and showcases at local artisan fairs. She also enjoys hiking, reading, playing soccer, antiquing, and traveling.
