Dr. Kara Chace PT, DPT
Dr. Kara Chace is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in orthopedics, sports-related injuries, women’s health, concussions, dry needling, and balance & falls. She also serves as a Regional Director for Highbar. Kara loves meeting new people and helping them to reach their goals, whether that be to get back to work or enjoy life pain-free. Throughout her career, she has gained certifications in functional dry needling and hippotherapy, which is the use of horseback riding as a therapeutic or rehabilitative treatment, especially as a means of improving coordination, balance, and strength.
She has previously volunteered at Greenlock Therapeutic Riding and is actively involved in community programs that support our youth including K-Rob and the RI Special Olympics. Dr. Chace also volunteers as a project advisor at Barrington High School and North Smithfield High School.
When she’s not in the clinic, Kara likes to spend time with her family and go to sporting and concert events. She keeps active by hiking, skiing, swimming, playing soccer, and biking.
