Dr. Farrell O’Shaughnessy is a physical therapist at Highbar Norwood who brings energy, athletic insight, and a strong commitment to clinical excellence to every patient interaction. With interests in orthopedics, sports injuries, spine care, headaches, and TMJ dysfunction, Farrell is passionate about helping patients move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities that matter most to them.
Farrell earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell (2022) and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University (2025). She is currently advancing her expertise through Highbar’s Orthopedic Residency Program and is preparing to sit for the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) exam in March 2027—a reflection of her dedication to mastering her craft and delivering leading-edge care.
A former collegiate soccer player, Farrell brings firsthand experience with athletic performance and injury recovery into her practice. She now coaches with FC Stars Soccer Club and the Bedford High School Girls Varsity Team, blending her love of mentorship and movement both on and off the field.
Originally from Bedford, MA, Farrell is a proud New England sports fan—especially of the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team, the Boston Celtics, and, as she’ll tell you, all Boston teams. When she’s not in the clinic or on the sidelines, she enjoys traveling to visit friends around the world, spending time at the beach, and staying active in her community.
