Physical Therapist – Highbar Seekonk

Dr. Ashley Freire is a Physical Therapist at Highbar Seekonk who is passionate about helping patients regain function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love most. She takes a patient-centered approach to care, combining individualized treatment plans with evidence-based techniques to help patients achieve meaningful, lasting results.

Ashley earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a specialization in Exercise Science from the University of Rhode Island (2015) and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) (2020). She is also Dry Needling Level I certified, allowing her to incorporate advanced techniques to support pain relief and recovery.

Her clinical interests include orthopedics, vestibular rehabilitation, spine care, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Ashley enjoys treating a wide range of conditions involving the wrist, elbow, shoulder, knee, hip, and ankle, with special interests in ACL rehabilitation, labral repairs, ankle sprains, total joint replacements, spinal fusions, and rotator cuff repairs.

Ashley loves being a physical therapist because it gives her the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives by helping them return to daily activities and hobbies with greater confidence and function.

Outside of the clinic, Ashley enjoys working out, hiking, reading, walking her Australian Shepherd named Bruin, and spending as much time as possible at the beach during the summer. A lifelong Massachusetts native, she is a passionate supporter of New England sports teams—especially the Boston Bruins.
