Tiffany Lao is a Physical Therapist at Highbar Pawtucket who brings compassion, precision, and a strong clinical foundation to every patient interaction. With a background in both laboratory science and rehabilitation, Tiffany combines analytical insight with hands-on care to support meaningful, lasting outcomes.

Tiffany earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Medical Laboratory Science and Biological Sciences from the University of Rhode Island before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Arcadia University. Her diverse academic background strengthens her evidence-based, problem-solving approach to rehabilitation.

She has a particular interest and experience in treating patients with neurological conditions, including acute and chronic stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease, and spinal cord injuries, as well as those working to improve balance and gait. Tiffany is deeply committed to helping her patients build confidence, regain independence, and improve functional capacity in ways that enhance everyday life.

Tiffany believes physical therapy is about empowering individuals to take ownership of their recovery. She focuses on creating personalized treatment plans that challenge patients appropriately while providing encouragement and support every step of the way.

Outside the clinic, Tiffany enjoys going to the gym, spending time at the beach, hiking, and visiting major cities—especially New York City. Her active lifestyle reflects her passion for movement and exploration, values she brings into her patient care at Highbar.
