Dr. Marcello Panno is a physical therapist at Highbar Physical Therapy in Franklin, MA who brings an energetic, movement-driven approach to orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. With focused expertise in the shoulder, knee, and hip, as well as sport-specific injuries related to soccer and swimming, Marcello is passionate about helping patients restore functional mobility and return to the activities they love most.

Marcello earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (2020) and Doctor of Physical Therapy (2023) from Springfield College, where his lifelong background in athletics helped shape his performance-oriented yet patient-centered treatment style. He has completed Dry Needling Levels I & II, allowing him to integrate advanced manual techniques with progressive strengthening and movement retraining.

What Marcello loves most about being a physical therapist is the opportunity to help people overcome obstacles and reach meaningful goals. He finds the work deeply rewarding—whether he’s guiding an athlete back to sport or helping someone regain confidence in everyday movement.

Outside the clinic, Marcello stays active and connected. He grew up playing soccer, swimming, and running track, and continues to enjoy playing soccer, going to the gym, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. He’s also a movie enthusiast and a big dog lover, bringing warmth, relatability, and enthusiasm into every patient interaction.
