21 Division Street
Pawtucket, RI 02860
Dr. Tara O’Grady is a physical therapist at Highbar Pawtucket who brings enthusiasm, clarity, and a strong belief in the power of movement to every patient interaction. With clinical interests in orthopedics, spine care, sports injuries, and headaches, Tara is passionate about helping people regain control over their lives, build confidence, and rediscover enjoyment in movement.
Tara earned both her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Science (2021) and Doctor of Physical Therapy (2024) from the University of Pittsburgh, where she also served extensively as a teaching assistant for both the DPT and undergraduate programs. Her background as an educator continues to shape her patient care—placing a strong emphasis on clear communication, empowerment, and understanding the “why” behind movement and recovery. She is also certified in Dry Needling (Highbar, 2024), allowing her to incorporate advanced techniques into individualized treatment plans.
Tara loves being a physical therapist because it allows her to inspire confidence and independence. She takes pride in helping patients feel capable in their bodies again—whether that’s returning to daily activities, building resilience after injury, or developing a lifelong appreciation for movement.
Outside the clinic, Tara enjoys cooking and baking, playing the piano, and settling into life in Rhode Island after living in both New Jersey and Pittsburgh, PA. She brings creativity, warmth, and curiosity to everything she does—qualities that patients quickly feel when working with her.
