Dr. Jessica Sorge (she/her/hers) is a physical therapist serving the Plainville and Franklin communities, where she is known for her thoughtful, empowering approach to care and her deep expertise in orthopedics, spine care, headaches, concussion management, and sports injuries. As a Certified Orthopedic Musculoskeletal Therapist (COMT), Jessica blends advanced manual therapy with exercise, education, and self-care strategies to help patients take an active role in their recovery.

Jessica earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (2016) and Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology (2013) from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, with additional minors in Nutrition and Psychology—an academic foundation that strongly informs her holistic, whole-person treatment style. Her advanced training includes Dry Needling Levels I & II, Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) certification, Fascial Cupping for Rehabilitation and Performance, and RYT-200 yoga teacher certification, allowing her to integrate movement, mindfulness, and strength into individualized plans of care.

A passionate educator, Jessica also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Biology Department at Dean College in Franklin, MA, where she teaches courses including Human Biology and The Science of Food. She is an active member of the APTA and is deeply committed to lifelong learning—continually applying new evidence and techniques to better support her patients’ long-term health and independence.

Jessica loves being a physical therapist because it allows her to empower others through knowledge and movement. She finds purpose in teaching patients how their bodies work, building confidence through understanding, and equipping people with the tools they need to thrive well beyond the clinic.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys practicing heated yoga and reformer Pilates, hiking, and walking her dog. She’s also an avid sports fan—watching football in the fall, curling during the Winter Olympics, and swimming, gymnastics, and volleyball in the Summer Games.
