Christopher McDermott, PT, DPT is a physical therapist at Highbar Physical Therapy’s Sudbury clinic who is passionate about helping patients overcome pain, restore movement, and return to the activities they enjoy most. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst before completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Christopher is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and is certified in Level 1 Dry Needling.

Christopher has a special interest in treating orthopedic conditions, spine and back pain, and chronic or persistent pain. He believes in taking an individualized, evidence-based approach to care, partnering with each patient to create treatment plans that improve function, reduce pain, and support long-term wellness.

Outside the clinic, Christopher enjoys staying active through weightlifting, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and running. He also enjoys reading and is committed to continually expanding his knowledge both inside and outside the profession.
