Meet the Experts in Smithfield – Douglas Pike, RI

Clinic Director: Dr. Jordan Madigan, PT, DPT
Dr. Jordan Madigan, PT, DPT is the Clinic Director at Highbar Physical Therapy in Smithfield, RI, where he is also a Partner and a member of the Highbar Dry Needling faculty. He specializes in orthopedics, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and golfers, and is passionate about showing patients their true potential, whether that means recovering from an injury or illness or making technique and performance adjustments.
Originally from Australia, Jordan earned a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of South Australia and a Master of Physiotherapy from Flinders University of South Australia before completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy through the Evidence in Motion Institute of Health Professions. He is certified in Dry Needling Levels 1 and 2 and holds a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 1 certification. He is a member of the APTA.
Growing up in a small rural town, Jordan was involved in every sport and activity he could find, mostly basketball and Australian Rules Football. After attending physical therapy for several minor sports injuries, he built strong relationships with the therapists who treated him. Their passion for patient care inspired him to pursue physiotherapy and shaped the physical therapist he is today.
Jordan stays active by playing Australian Rules Football for Boston, golfing as many courses around New England as he can, taking his rescue dog hiking, and playing pickup basketball with friends. He also loves visiting breweries around Rhode Island.
