Check Out the Clinic

Dr. Norah Garvey is a physical therapist at Highbar Providence who brings energy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to her work across orthopedics, spine care, sports injuries, and pediatrics. Norah is especially passionate about helping people return to their favorite activities and seeing firsthand how improved movement can transform daily life. Whether she’s supporting an adult through recovery or celebrating a child’s first time rolling, crawling, or walking, she finds joy in every milestone.

Norah earned both her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Husson University, where she developed a strong foundation in movement science and whole-person care. She has also completed Level 1 Dry Needling through Highbar, giving her additional tools to help patients address pain, improve mobility, and regain confidence in their bodies.

What Norah loves most about physical therapy is the opportunity to guide people through meaningful change—helping them move better, feel better, and get back to the life and activities that matter most.

Outside the clinic, Norah stays active and connected to the outdoors. She loves hiking, skiing, and Irish step dancing, and she spends as much time as possible with family, friends, and her dogs. A proud New England sports fan, she never misses a chance to cheer on the Boston Bruins.
