Why Peak Physical Therapy?

Join the Movement!

$80,000 - $100,000 base salary + uncapped performance bonus + student loan assistance until paid off.

Finding a PT job is easy. Finding a good PT job is hard. We built the movement for clinicians who want clarity, support, and a sustainable career, not just another offer.

Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a proud affiliate of Highbar Physical Therapy, is a premier, PT-led outpatient practice across New England.  We are a teaching practice by design, focused on empowering clinicians to practice at the top of their license while delivering exceptional patient care. Our care model is intentionally designed to prioritize clinical autonomy, reasonable caseload expectations, and built-in mentorship, so Physical Therapists can grow confidently without burning out.

What Your Day Actually Looks Like at Peak:

We believe clarity builds trust. Here’s what you can expect:
  • Patient volume: Lower than industry norms, our expectations are less than 12 patients per day
  • Visit structure: 1:1 patient care
  • Documentation: AI-supported documentation + Prompt EMR to reduce after-hours documentation
  • Schedules: Predictable, thoughtfully built schedules
  • Care decisions: PT-led clinical autonomy. You decide the plan of care
  • Support staff: Exercise Specialists to support treatment flow so you can focus on being a clinician

If something starts to creep toward burnout, leadership intervenes early. That’s part of the job design - not an afterthought.

Mentorship & Professional Development:

Peak is a teaching practice by design. Professional development is part of your workweek- not something you squeeze in to meet your CEU requirements:
  • 2 paid mentorship hours/week for your first 12 weeks
  • Structured onboarding with a Clinic Director + Peer Mentor
  • Monthly Skillz meetings (onsite CE, every month)
  • Core-4 Series to align clinical decision-making and PATTOTL principles
  • In-house Orthopedic Residency, Dry Needling (Level I & II), and COMT pathways
  • Specialty SIGs (Pelvic Health, Sports, Neuro, Vestibular, Pediatrics, and more)

We invest $15,000+ in your professional development in your first 18–24 months!

You'll Thrive at Peak if You Value:

  • Practicing as a clinician, not a productivity unit
  • Autonomy paired with real support
  • Clear expectations around workload and growth
  • Leadership with clinical backgrounds
  • Feedback that is welcomed and acted on

What You'll Need:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program
  • Active PT license (or eligibility to obtain one)
  • A desire to grow clinically, contribute to a team, and practice thoughtfully

Compensation

$80,000 USD – $100,000 USD / year
Salary based on experience

Total Compensation Package includes:
  • Uncapped bonus potential
  • Student loan assistance that continues until your loans are paid off
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k)

Peak Physical Therapy — Careers

Peak Physical Therapy is a Highbar practice – part of the Highbar Physical Therapy network, which brings together four of New England's most established outpatient PT brands: Peak here on the South Shore, Highbar Physical Therapy across Rhode Island and Massachusetts, Joint Ventures Physical Therapy in Boston, and Physical Therapy U across Massachusetts.

Being a Highbar practice means we keep our South Shore roots and the local team culture our clinicians come here for, while sharing the clinical standards, mentorship, residency programs, and professional development that define Highbar. The brands stay distinct because the communities we serve do — but the career path runs across the whole network.

When you join Peak, you're joining a Highbar practice. That means a local team to build your career with, plus access to residency-trained mentors, continuing education, and growth opportunities across all four brands.
